Privacy Policy
0. Who we are
Pullup is operated by Worldwide Master Solutions LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company doing business as Pullup. Worldwide Master Solutions LLC is the entity that collects and processes the information described in this policy.
1. Information we collect
When you use Pullup, we may collect information you provide directly, such as your email address when you sign up, submit an event, or contact us. We also collect usage data automatically, including pages visited, search queries, and device information through standard analytics tools.
1a. Member accounts and sign-in
You can create a free Pullup member account to save spots you want to come back to. Creating an account is optional — you can browse the entire site without one. We use Clerk (Clerk, Inc.) as our authentication provider. When you sign up or sign in, Clerk securely handles your login and stores your account credentials on our behalf; we never see or store your password. The information tied to your account — such as your email address, and, if you choose to sign in with Google, the name, email address, and profile picture that Google shares with us — is processed by Clerk and stored in our database to operate your account. If you sign in with Google, that sign-in is governed by Google’s own privacy policy in addition to this one. We request only your basic profile and email; we do not access your Google contacts, files, or other data. When you save a spot, we store that bookmark linked to your account so it’s there when you return. You can remove a saved spot at any time, and you can delete your entire account and its associated data whenever you wish (see section 5a).
2. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to operate and improve the Service; to respond to your messages and submissions; to send you updates about events or the platform if you have opted in; and to detect and prevent fraud or abuse.
3. Cookies and tracking
Pullup uses cookies and similar technologies to maintain your session, remember preferences, and understand how users interact with the Service. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not function correctly as a result.
3a. Analytics providers
We use the following analytics tools to understand traffic patterns and improve the Service: Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights (hosting-provider-native; no cookies; aggregated data only); Google Analytics 4(cookie-based; IP addresses are anonymized; data retained per Google’s defaults). We track aggregate events such as which pages are viewed, which events users click through to, and whether signup forms convert. We do not use this data to build individual profiles or sell it to third parties. You may opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the official browser opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
4. Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers who help us operate the platform (such as hosting, analytics, and authentication providers like Clerk), and only to the extent necessary for them to provide those services. We may also share information when required by law.
4a. Newsletter and email communications
When you sign up for The Pullup Weekly, you consent to receive our editorial newsletter, a curated digest of car events in Los Angeles, sent on Thursdays. Submitting your email address constitutes your consent. We send weekly only. No daily emails, no transactional sends, no partner promotions unless we explicitly relaunch with new consent. Subscribers are stored in our database and forwarded to beehiiv (Beehiiv, Inc.), our email service provider, who handles delivery. We do not sell, rent, or share subscriber emails with any other third party for marketing purposes. You can unsubscribe at any time via the one-click link in every email. Your email is removed from beehiiv immediately upon unsubscribe. To request full deletion of your subscription data from both our database and beehiiv, contact us via the address in section 9 below. We’ll process the request within 30 days, in line with the California Consumer Privacy Act’s right-to-delete.
5. Data retention
We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide the Service and comply with our legal obligations. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
5a. California Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and its amendments give you the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Right to know. You can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, including the categories of information we’ve collected, the sources we collected it from, the purposes we use it for, and any third parties we’ve shared it with.
- Right to delete. You can request that we delete personal information we’ve collected from you, subject to certain exceptions (for example, where we are required to retain it to comply with a legal obligation).
- Right to correct. You can request that we correct personal information we hold about you that is inaccurate.
- Right to opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising or any other purpose. There is nothing for you to opt out of, but you have the right.
- Right to non-discrimination. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights. You will not be denied access to the Service, charged a different price, or provided a different level of quality because you made a privacy request.
6. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your data.
7. Children’s privacy
Pullup is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new policy on this page with an updated date.
