Brands.

The commercial organizations of LA car culture. Manufacturers, experience centers, shops, media, insurance, parts. Sometimes your event host; sometimes the sponsor on the banner; sometimes the brand printed on the side of the truck.

Where brands fit in

Pullup’s discovery model is anchored on the people and places who make events happen. Brands play one of four roles in that ecosystem: host, sponsor, venue operator, or featured participant. Some brands play more than one — Porsche Experience Center is both a venue operator (the Carson facility) and a host (driving programs); Hagerty is both a sponsor (Concours partnerships) and an organizer (their owner clubs).

We list brands as their own surface because the same brand often touches many events. Listing the brand once and linking its events lets a visitor follow “what is Hagerty doing in LA this season” without having to scroll through thirty event pages looking for the sponsorship line.

What we list here: brands with at least one curator-verified event on Pullup OR a sustained, recognized role in LA car culture (a long-running shop, a media outlet covering local events, a manufacturer with public-facing programs). Same standard as clubs and people — receipts, not press-kit promises.
