It started as a hobby. Erich Joiner runs Tool of North America, the video production company. Goodboybob was a coffee project on the side. Opened in Santa Monica in 2017 and named after his Havanese. The Broadway café still shares its building with Tool's VR studio. The coffee program was built with Ryan Fisher of Commonwealth, Denver.
