OverviewWe are once again privileged to spend the afternoon/evening with LAPD’s Mounted Platoon and have an insider’s look at the workings of LAPD. This is our 5th year invited to enjoy a unique time with Mounted Unit for an exclusive tour of their facility, riding demonstration, tactics display & BBQ Dinner. Every event with the Mounted Platoon is a unique experience and this one will be no exception. This year our tour begins with a planned “inside” look at the SWAT facility with special surprises, followed by a Police escorted drive to the “horse barn” for a tour that includes the Mounted Platoon riding demonstrations and a very special presentation to FCA.*1 Later on, the Officers will prepare and serve their famous BBQ dinner. Following dinner there will be a silent auction with many wonderful opportunities to bid on including a Police Ride-Along, a day at the LAPD shooting range and a chance to enjoy an afternoon ride on one of the LAPD horses. This is a family fun and friendly happening. Ferraris are encouraged but not required. It’s a great opportunity to invite your friends, bring the kids or grandkids and experience this great event. Saturday, August 8, 2026, (2:00 pm to 8:00 pm) Cost: $100 per adult – $50 for kids 16 and under *2 Last day to register is the earlier of July 31, 2026 or when the event is full. $20 cancellation fee for cancellations by July 25th, after that, no refunds.
