Small gravel lot off Mulholland Highway plus limited roadside spots; fills fast on weekend mornings when the canyon crowd is out.
Entry
No cover, walk-in. The room is tiny — reservations are taken only for parties of 4 or more, and the bar is first-come, first-served.
The Old Place opened in 1970 in a Cornell building that started as a general store and post office around 1915. Tom Runyon flew the bar in from a Virginia City saloon. It sits right by the Rock Store on Mulholland, so the canyon crowd, cars and bikes both, has been stopping here for decades.
